(सौरमंडल की संरचना)


 प्रस्तावना:

सौरमंडल (Solar System) ब्रह्माण्ड का वह भाग है जिसमें सूर्य केंद्र में स्थित है तथा उसके चारों ओर ग्रह, उपग्रह, बौने ग्रह, क्षुद्रग्रह, धूमकेतु, उल्कापिंड तथा अन्य खगोलीय पिंड गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल के कारण परिक्रमा करते हैं। भूगोल के अध्ययन में सौरमंडल की संरचना का विशेष महत्व है क्योंकि पृथ्वी भी इसी का एक ग्रह है।


1. सौरमंडल की परिभाषा

सौरमंडल सूर्य तथा उसके गुरुत्वाकर्षण बल से बंधे सभी खगोलीय पिंडों का समूह है। सूर्य सौरमंडल के कुल द्रव्यमान का लगभग 99.86% भाग अपने में समाहित किए हुए है।


2. सौरमंडल के प्रमुख घटक


(A) सूर्य (Sun)

सौरमंडल का केंद्र।

एक मध्यम आकार का तारा।

मुख्यतः हाइड्रोजन (लगभग 74%) एवं हीलियम (लगभग 24%) से बना है।

ऊर्जा का स्रोत नाभिकीय संलयन (Nuclear Fusion) है।

पृथ्वी पर प्रकाश एवं ऊष्मा का मुख्य स्रोत।


महत्व

सभी ग्रहों को गुरुत्वाकर्षण से बाँधे रखता है।

पृथ्वी पर जीवन संभव बनाता है।

मौसम एवं जलवायु को प्रभावित करता है।


(B) ग्रह (Planets)

सौरमंडल में 8 ग्रह हैं—

1. बुध (Mercury)

2. शुक्र (Venus)

3. पृथ्वी (Earth)

4. मंगल (Mars)

5. बृहस्पति (Jupiter)

6. शनि (Saturn)

7. अरुण (Uranus)

8. वरुण (Neptune)


ग्रहों का वर्गीकरण

(i) आंतरिक ग्रह (Inner Planets)

बुध

शुक्र

पृथ्वी

मंगल


विशेषताएँ

छोटे आकार के।

चट्टानी सतह।

सूर्य के निकट।

उपग्रह कम या नहीं।


(ii) बाहरी ग्रह (Outer Planets)

बृहस्पति

शनि

अरुण

वरुण


विशेषताएँ

गैसीय ग्रह।

आकार में बड़े।

अनेक उपग्रह।

वलय (Rings) पाए जाते हैं।


3. बौने ग्रह (Dwarf Planets)

मुख्य बौने ग्रह—

प्लूटो

सीरीस

हाउमिया

माकेमाके

एरिस


विशेषताएँ

सूर्य की परिक्रमा करते हैं।

गोलाकार होते हैं।

अपनी कक्षा को पूर्णतः साफ नहीं कर पाए हैं।


4. प्राकृतिक उपग्रह (Natural Satellites)

ग्रहों की परिक्रमा करने वाले पिंड।

पृथ्वी का एक उपग्रह—चंद्रमा।

शनि के सबसे अधिक ज्ञात उपग्रह हैं।


5. क्षुद्रग्रह (Asteroids)

मंगल और बृहस्पति के बीच स्थित क्षुद्रग्रह घेरे (Asteroid Belt) में पाए जाते हैं।

छोटे चट्टानी पिंड।

सौरमंडल के प्रारंभिक निर्माण के अवशेष माने जाते हैं।


6. धूमकेतु (Comets)

बर्फ, धूल और गैस से बने होते हैं।

सूर्य के निकट आने पर पूँछ बन जाती है।

प्रसिद्ध धूमकेतु—हैली धूमकेतु (Halley's Comet)।


7. उल्कापिंड (Meteoroids, Meteors and Meteorites)

अंतरिक्ष में छोटे पिंड—उल्कापिंड (Meteoroids)

वायुमंडल में जलते हुए—उल्का (Meteor)

पृथ्वी पर गिरने वाले—उल्काखंड (Meteorites)


8. कुइपर बेल्ट (Kuiper Belt)

वरुण ग्रह के बाहर स्थित।

बौने ग्रह एवं अनेक बर्फीले पिंड पाए जाते हैं।

प्लूटो इसी क्षेत्र का सदस्य है।


9. ओर्ट मेघ (Oort Cloud)

सौरमंडल की सबसे बाहरी सीमा।

लंबी अवधि वाले धूमकेतुओं का प्रमुख स्रोत माना जाता है।

The Solar System is the part of the universe where the Sun is situated at the center, and celestial bodies—such as planets, satellites, dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, meteoroids, and others—orbit it due to gravitational force. The structure of the Solar System holds special significance in the study of geography because Earth is one of its planets.


1. Definition of the Solar System

The Solar System is a group comprising the Sun and all celestial bodies bound by its gravitational force. The Sun accounts for approximately 99.86% of the Solar System's total mass.


2. Key Components of the Solar System

(A) The Sun

The center of the Solar System.

A medium-sized star.

Composed primarily of hydrogen (approx. 74%) and helium (approx. 24%).

Energy source: Nuclear Fusion.

The primary source of light and heat for Earth.
